Selangor FC will face Sabah FC in the 18th Super League 2023 match tomorrow (July 23) at 9.00pm at MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya.

This is the 75th meeting between #SELSAB. The Red Giants have won 37 matches and drawn 15. In addition, 125 goals have been scored from the meeting between these two teams.

Tan Cheng Hoe, the head coach of Selangor FC, acknowledged the quality of Sabah FC's players, but he is certain that his team is ready for tomorrow's match.

"In training, the players are ready and motivated enough for tomorrow's match. However, there is a bit of concern because some players are not at their best fitness level but I am confident that many players can fill the void. I will select the best starting eleven according to the team's situation," said Tan Cheng Hoe.

"The Sabah squad has won the previous match with a large number of scores. We can tell that their offence and defence are of high calibre and will provide a good challenge for the squad. This means, we need to be prepared in whatever tactics they will play,"

As for the players update, according to Tan Cheng Hoe, central defender, Richmond Ankrah is still injured and unable to play with the team.
